Marriage & Family Therapist, MA, LMFT
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LF61485405) for the state of Washington, working with individuals, relationships, and families. I believe that at our core, every person has a place where they experience clarity, curiosity, confidence, and calm. And yet, life is difficult. Sometimes we need support to get us back into that place of confidence and clarity—or to find it for the first time. Our work together can serve as one of those support systems to help bring about the change you’re looking for.
About Therapy
My approach and what to expect.
I believe that my clients are the experts on their own lives and my work always tries to work with the innate wisdom and strengths they possess. My theoretical approaches to therapy are integrative and I love to pull from Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Attachment Theory, and Internal Family Systems. With relationships and couples, I use Gottman Couple Method, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Psychobiological Approach. In all my work, I enjoy incorporating a macro-level view of the problem, looking at how larger systems (such as culture, family history, politics, etc.) factor into your story.
